Hello! My name is Brett. I'm a Penninsula-born local musician, music teacher, apprentice electrician and father of two cats. Both of my parents are music teachers as well, so I've been surrounded by music my entire life. Over the past 20 years I've performed, produced, and published about 20 albums with an array of outstanding Bay Area artists in many different styles.

I specialize in all things bass. Electric, fretless, upright, extended range, and Chapman Stick. Additionally I teach drums, and guitar.
In our lessons, we focus on the fundamentals like music theory, chords, scales, techniques, reading, and writing - all while keeping things fun.

My objective is to get you practicing your instrument CORRECTLY so you can eventually teach yourself! When you learn how to correctly utilize practice - the language of music reveals itself natually.
